Board of Trustees
The School’s governance comes from a committee of the Board of Trustees of Nelson College.
The committee meets at least once a term and more frequently if necessary. The Chairman of the committee is in regular contact with the Head Teacher to discuss issues which arise from time to time. The committee is responsible for all staff appointments.
The Head Teacher of the Prep School is responsible for its day to day management. In addition to teaching duties the Head Teacher organises events, manages staff, co-ordinates teaching, curriculum planning and communicates with parents among many other roles.
