Richard Townsend

This is Mr Townsend’s 5^th year teaching at Nelson College. He attended the college as a student between 1996-2001 and remains passionate about the school and students. He has taught Health and Physical Education for both juniors and seniors, as well as Careers Passport. Mr Townsend is part of our boarding staff, and lives onsite with his wife and son. He is involved in a range of extra-curricular activities and is particularly enthusiastic about sports, especially martial arts. As a first-time Dean, Mr Townsend is really looking forward to meeting the families and students who will join us in 2021.
