Course Description
This is a course designed for Year 12 students who seek involvement in the building and construction industry as a future career path. Building and construction unit standards that count towards NCEA will be delivered. Students will be exposed to a variety of processes and conditions typically encountered in the building trade. Industry visits are incorporated into the course.
Qualifications: Credits towards NCEA
Cost: $50 for site visits and take home projects
Safety gear and personal tools are provided.
Students are expected to have their own boots which must be worn in all practical lessons and site visits.
