Course Description This course is an introduction into designing and working with wood and metal. The first unit gives students an opportunity to design and make something in wood for a take home project. The second unit is metal based where the students get to make a metal toolbox or wall cabinet. Course Description This course is project based and cover design and manufacturing in a material of your choice. You will be designing something to aid and assist with a sport or hobby for yourself, someone else or for a club etc. You will also have an opportunity to learn Computer Aided Design (Solid Works) plus model your design and make components using a 3D printer.
