We have been working hard behind the scenes to establish a Basketball programme that will give the best possible opportunity for our young men to reach their potential in this sport. We have foundations in the form of many talented players at the school and up to 23 Teams during the term.

Our aim is to build on those foundations and get the best from these many keen players. To do this we have established a committee to lead and guide the growth of the sport at Nelson College. The committee is a mixture of parents and staff and comprises; Jodi Jeffrey, Chris Franklin, Tim Tucker, Kim Biggs, Brendon Bailey and Richard Inglis. We have the united purpose of harnessing the potential of the players in our school. We are currently working of refining our roles within the committee.

Our Basketball programme is has some aspects to be confirmed but the line-up for 2018 is;
