Enrolling your son at Nelson College is a simple online process and the college welcomes all enrolments. If you prefer to complete a hard copy please download the Ernolment Form.
Year 9 2018 Prospectus packs are available from local intermediate schools within the Nelson/Tasman area.

Year 9 2018 Dates to remember:Orientation school visits – Friday 28 July to Thursday 3 August
Year 8 students will scheduled to visit the college. These visits will enable the boys to meet staff and students, see our facilities and discuss the subjects that are available to them. Parents and caregivers are most welcome to join their sons on these visits. If you are unable to attend on your scheduled school time then you are welcome to contact the office to arrange a visit on any other time.
Orientation Evening – Thursday 3 August, 7.00pm
During the course of the evening, staff will be available to discuss any queries you many have concerning subjects, facilities, or any other part of college life. There will be opportunities for private discussion and will include a tour of our facilities. Prospective Year 9 students are most welcome to attend this evening.

Interviews – November
During Term 4 staff from Nelson College will be interviewing all students and parents as the initial personal contact for new enrolments.
To complete the online process you will need to have the following documents copied and ready to upload, (or alternatively post to the college).
• Proof of ‘Domestic Status’ – ie a copy of NZ Birth Certificate, Passport, Residents Permit or similar
• Copy of latest school report
• Copy of Immunisation records (Plunket book or generated from your doctor)
• Learning conditions documentation if available
When an online enrolment application is received you will be sent an email of acknowledgement.
All applicants and their parents will be interviewed by their year level deans as an initial personal contact for new enrolments.
